Zoo Fun

The weather here has been so nice. We couldn't take indoors any longer.

So off the the ZOO we went! The animals were Active and Fun to watch.

Landon really LOVED the Lions. They were being very playful. We had our picture taken with them but Landon was to afraid to look away, he thought they would sneak up behind him and EAT HIM :)

Lashae woke just in time for the Birds!

We got a cup of juice to feed them.

They were SO Fun and Playful

Lashae would point her finger and say

"Waz Zat" and "Oh WOW"

I put the cup of juice on the stroller so she could see the birds closer. She liked it for a little while when there was only 1 bird, after more started to come she turned to me and said "Aw Dun!"

Landon really enjoyed feeding them too. He wouldn't let them stand on his arm, and liked them in small amounts as well. He kept trying to pet them... finally one didn't like it and took a little NIP at him. The picture in the bottom left is right after it happened. I look at that picture and Laugh! His Face is So FUNNY! Good timing on my part :D

OK, Lashae is only 1!

She is already coloring on the walls. I tried to get a picture of it but it didn't turn out.... I Can't wait till I can get a better One.

I can have Lashae all cute, and when I get here up from her naps, this is usually what she looks like, she'll take out her cute little bow. I then have to search her crib for it. Sometimes her little ponytail is out too. Love how it stands Straight UP! :)

She LOVES Landon! and is his little shadow. She will climb on the couch just to sit right next TO or ON him to watch a movie. When he colors, so does she. When he brushes his teeth, She's Right there saying Aww Aaw. When he's in a time out, Shae sits right next to him.

Sometimes, when they are playing, Lashae will start crying, come walking down the hallway saying Maama... Nano..... Laandeen, and points to where he is. Really? she's only 1 and is already tattle telling!

She Also LOVES Books! this is usually what she does while I'm on the computer.

She sits in her little chair and gets book after book after book.It will entertain her for along time.

Unless Landon is doing something Fun.

The other day, I was on the computer and my little book reader decided to go off and play with Landon. Usually, she will come in and out to check on me and then goes back to play. Well, it was being awful quiet and my little girl hadn't check on me for a while. So I called out to her, no answer. Landon Quickly came running to my side. telling me, "Oh Mom, She's OK" ~What is she doing~ "Well,... Umm" (oh boy) "Well,... She was bugging me, So I locked her in your room" She was fine. Just sitting by my closet playing with my shoes.

Landon Has HAD It!!!

For a few days, Landon had been so stink'en naughty. He was mouthy, got angry over the silliest little things. and I couldn't do ANYTHING to make him happy. He Was Just Angry!!! And I had given up! So, I sat him down and asked him, What was going on? Trying to get him to express what was making him so upset. He Finally said, "Mom, Can I just do a Project"..... Will that make you Happy? Yeah, "Can I use some of your special paper". So I gave him some and a few minutes later, he came back to me and said....."Mom, I HAVE HAD IT!.....I made me a map that tells me how to get back to Idaho" Oh did you "Yes! So don't worry about me, I have a map and I want to see my Grandpa and Grandma's and my Uncle!" Got on his little toy car and went for a drive. Then it hit me! THIS little guy is Home Sick! SO I asked him if he needed to talk to his Grandparents and Uncle? His Eyes lit up and he asked if he could call them NOW!

So, to the phone we went. And that my Friends is the trick around this joint to making MY Little Guy Happy! As would a trip home but when you're this far away, the Phone and Skype Work Wonders! :)

Oh Ouch!

Lashae LOVES to play on my bed. She can usually get down all by herself. However... She was having a really OFF day. She was even having a hard time walking straight. I don't know if she was just tired or what her deal was. Anyway... She was getting off my bed, came Face First and landed on the sideboard of my bed. Instantly she had a bruise.

I know I know!

I'm a slacker.....I've taken my dear sweet time to post our Christmas Vacation. But hey, at least I'm only a month behind and not 6 right Camille ;)
Over all, We had a Great Christmas Holiday! It was the BEST 2 1/2 week Vacation we've had in a long time. Stan got to relax from School, I got to relax from all the "Do's" of a stay home Mommy. Landon got to see his Grandparents, Uncle, Cousins, Snow, and was not ready to come home. Lashae got spoiled for her birthday and had a little bit, no LOTS of stranger anxiety.
We were VERY Spoiled and LOVED! We miss our Families more than ever. It was hard to leave them again but it's good to know they really aren't that far way!

It's good to be home. Stan jumped right back in the the hustle n bussel of school, as did I with being a Mommy. Landon missed his friends and was happy to go back to preschool. And Lashae, was MORE than happy to see her house!

As hard as it is to be away, We have some pretty AMAZING friends here who make being away from home...Not So Bad After All!

Grandpa told the Grand kids there was Something Super Cool outside! Then asked who wanted to go see it, Gathered 'em up and took them to the back yard down by the creek where he had a live trap with a..........

Raccoon in it! and Not a small one either.
The kids thought it was the Coolest thing, Until Ruger made it mad and it hissed at him :)

Then they were done. But they still talked about it for a few days.

Christmas Morning....

My Parents had a House Full this year for Christmas. Camille and Daniel's Family came all the way from Canada, We came all the way from Oregon, Lyden and Chelse came all the way from Jerome, and Kerina and Sky's Family came ALL the way from..... down the street :)

Christmas Morning everyone gathered around the tree and awaited the Passing of Gifts. Once all the gifts were handed out, The Opening began. We each took our turn opening one gift at a time starting with the youngest working our way up. Needless to say with 18 people it took a little while. However it was a fun way to see what everyone got and then gave the little ones some time to aww over 'em.

We also had a Family Name Draw. We picked names and made Homemade Gifts that didn't cost much money. There were lots of really cute crafty gift ideas!
