Saturday Market

We finally had a nice DRY day! So Ashlee and I decided to take our kids to the Saturday Market. Our Guys were studying and couldn't come along. No worries! We still had a good time :)
There were so many people there. BUT so much fun to wonder around all the different booths and see so many cool things.

I could have easily spent lots of money here!

at first Landon was afraid of this Mime...

After he gave him a sucker, he could then stand next to him for a picture

This booth had so many carved toys, you could even try them out. Landon kept asking the guy to help him and show him more cool tricks that the tops would do. I of course had to get some pictures. Once I had finished and stood up, Ashlee pointed out a sign right at eye level that said

"NO PICTURES PLEASE".....OOPS...Sorry! :)

We ate some lunch, wandered around to check out more things.

Ben and Landon had to get some Balloon Art!

Lashae was such a trooper! she got down and walked a little but was happy as could be in the stroller eating snacks and watching the CrazyNess around us.

After we got home I asked Landon what his favorite thing about the Saturday Market was. He said, "Well, I Loved the train ride, and the Mime, AND the guy that made me a cool monkey out of a Balloon, Oh! and the Place with the Tops...... I guess I just liked it all."

MY Girly Girl!

Lashae LOVES getting her Toes painted. She will go into my bathroom, get my nail polish and fallow me around the house saying Pitty Pitty {pretty pretty} until I paint her Toe Nails. Once I sit down and open the bag, she's quick to pick her color.

She's a squirmy little one so it makes it FUN to paint her toes with out making a mess; She LOVES to touch them before they are dry so the whole Painting process takes a little while :)

She had a Q-tip to paint her toes too

She is Such a Girly Girl and WE LOVE her to Pieces!

Japanese Garden

Grandma and Grandpa Gillett came to visit us a few weeks ago. {I know, I'm behind...}

The Kids were all over them and Loved them to pieces.

While they were here, we took them to the Rose Test Garden. No roses in bloom, but it sure did have and Amazing View!

We also visited the Japanese Garden, It Was BEAUTIFUL!

Landon got to do a little scavenger hunt. They gave him a kids map of the garden with pictures of things to look for. When we left the Garden, he got a PRIZE for being an Amazing Finder.
He LOVED it!

This is a Beautiful Place. Lots of flowers and trees in bloom. It was Really neat to walk around and Enjoy the beauty!

We took lots of Pictures.....Enjoy :)

We tried to get a Picture of the Kids on the stairs. Lashae was sitting down, but not looking at the camera. When she stood up, she started to look and smile but decided her skirt needed to go up too! haha :)

It was So nice to have Grandma and Grandpa Gillett come visit and explore with us!
We Love them and miss them so much!

Lashae was trying to share her eggs with this little boy, it was cute.

Lashae was Thrilled that she could open the eggs and out came.... Something?? She would dump them out and fill 'em up over and over. Once she realized she could eat what was in it....

Hop 2 It

While in Idaho, we went to Hop 2 It with my Family.
It was so much FUN!!
Landon was super quick to run off and explore, it didn't take him long to test everything out. He came to find me a few times to go down a slide together, got his Daddy for a little Jousting and had Uncle Lyden play a little Baseball with him :) He LOVED being able to run where ever his little heart desired. He was in Heaven!!
Lashae was a little hesitant. Once she realized how much fun it was, she was good to go. She LOVED the WEE (slide) after each slide, she would clap her hands and then quickly try to climb back up herself for another ride. The Ball pit was another huge hit with her. it had little "WEE's" that dropped into Lots of balls. She too LOVED to run where ever she wanted. :)
It wasn't just a place for kids...Everyone had SO much FUN! We were ALL playing like little children in a play land :)
I say it's a "Must Do" when we go back to visit!!!

Our Whale Watching Adventure

Every three months, (between quarters) Stan gets a 2 week break. We started this break out with a Whale Watching Adventure! We stayed a night in Seaside with our friends Jeff and Ashlee and their boys. The next morning our adventure Begin!
We went to several different spots in hopes to find some Whales.
At the first stop, there was a couple who had loads of info on Blue Wales;
What to look for, how long they were, what they ate and what the mouth looked like.
Landon and Ben really enjoyed learning all about them.
We didn't have any luck at this spot. It was really windy and COLD...
So we decided to move on!

Another area. Still Super windy and no Whales, but sure was pretty.

Again, another spot. This was at a Lighthouse lookout. it was really cool. I have no idea why I don't take a picture of the lighthouse???

Sad to say, No Whales were spotted by us :( It was really windy and cold. BUT! The overall trip was really fun. The Driving we did, the cool stuff we got to see and the company was Really Awesome! We will do it again sometime. With hopes that we get to see Whales. But if not, It's SO COOL just to be at the coast and enjoy the outdoors :)

Yeah Baby It's SPRING Time!!!

I LOVE this time of year, when everything starts to bloom.
Winter here wasn't as bad as everyone made it sound. Yeah it was cloudy and it rained, but we still saw some sun. The only time we used our big heavy winter coats was in Idaho for Christmas. Here, we just needed a warm rain jacket.... with all the rain, it stays really green. Once the sun starts shining more, all the flowers and trees start to bloom. It Beautiful! And to me it makes it worth all that Winter Rain.
On a nice clear day, you can see Mount St. Hellens
And Mount Hood
~These Pictures were taken at Stan's School~Everything started to bloom here the end of February.
It's crazy to me...To have it look like "Spring Time" so early

Isn't it So LOVELY?
I must say we are really LOVING our time here!
We can't wait for more nice warm weather to do more Exploring :)
