For Stan's September break and our 8th Anniversary, we decided to have ourselves a family getaway! We took Landon out of school for a day and went to Newport. It was a really nice weekend.
We went to the Beach, let the kids play in the sand.
Landon LOVES the Beach! It's a giant sandbox to him. The water is another story... He wouldn't get his feet wet without screaming. He says, the waves make him feel like he's sinking...? While he was playing in the sand not paying attention, the waves snuck up on him and gave him quite the scare!
Lashae, Not a fan!! Surprised? Not me!! She would NOT stand on the sand, she would touch it with her hands but NOT her feet ??? So Stan held her so she could still play in the sand with the shovel and not get her poor lil toes yucky.
The next time we went to the beach she was a little more willing to play in the sand... only with her shoes on though :)We went to the Beach, let the kids play in the sand.
