Painted Faces

At the start of every new quarter, the school puts together a BBQ. It's a great opportunity for all the students and their families to get together. They haven't ever really had anything fun or entertaining to do activity wise for the young children. However... This last one they did have a big bounce house that all the little ones Loved! Also after dinner they did face paintings. Landon was very anxious to get his painted, he wanted to be a Dragon and told the girls exactly how he wanted it. Lashae sat and watched here older brother get his face painted and when he was done she turned to me and asked if it was Shae's turn. I was so shocked!!! She usually wants Nothing to do with Anybody touching her. One of the girls asked what she wanted and she told her Pink. So she sat ever so very still and got her face painted Pink... with a butterfly and a sunshine on her cheeks.
