* Lashae's Hair * Easter * Church Ball *

Lashae's Hair Cut
Our Little Girl Has CRAZY HAIR! So.... I cut It :)
It has some curl but no matter what I do or put in it;
it just Stands up, and goes POOF!
So out came the scissors and away I went. Don't worry, I didn't cut it all off. Just trimmed the top and got rid of her silly Lil tails hanging down in the back and around her ears. The top is still FLUFFY and CRAZY. It's funny! Oh well, at least she has HAIR. :)

Easter Fun
We went down to my parents house, Kerina, Sklyar, Ty, Lyden and Chelse were also there. We Had so much FUN! Landon and Lashae both got new Sunday Clothes. Landon got an Umbrella and Velcro Mitts with a Ball. Lashae got a Sun Hat and some toys for her to play with (lick) :) After church we had a Family Testimony Meeting, It was so nice! Lots of tears though :) Then played outside, and flew kites. After Dinner, We went down to wish my Grandpa Christensen Happy Birthday. It was so nice to be with everyone.
Stan got Lashae to stand on his hands, the picture isn't the best but you can see her standing there it's so cute!

Church Ball
Stan was getting ready to go play Church Ball
and Landon HAD to put his "Ball" shorts on and go!
After the Game Landon and Daddy had fun playing a game of Ball.

Busy With Kids

In the morning, Landon loves to come into our room and watch cartoons, if were not awake, he says, "Mommy it's Morning Time... Time to Get Up!" (Mommy, not Daddy) This morning, he wanted Lashae to watch with him. So sad how glued to the T.V. they are.... However, sure does help when I'm getting ready :)

Stan was home with the kids and let Landon go outside to play, after a little while he heard this weird zing zzzing zzzzinnng. He went out to see what Landon was up to, and found him using the top of his sand box as a "Track" for his bike. Stan said he was trying to go forward but would keep sliding back. that's what was making the noise. It's a good thing his training wheels couldn't get past the middle there or Stan would have heard Crying instead of Zinging.

The other day while I was waxing my eyebrows, Landon would come in and out of the bathroom. I had dropped on of the sticks to apply the wax with and Landon said, don't worry mom I'll get it. Then left the room. A little while latter came back in and saw that I had dropped one of the un-used strips that gets the wax off. (I know I'm messy) and again told me, Don't worry, I'll get that too. After I was all done, mess cleaned up, wax off and out of the bathroom. I was doing other things around the house when I realized that Landon was being very quiet. I called his name, when he answered I asked what he was doing. He said..... "Oh I'm just Waxing My Eyebrows" Oh My GOSH!!!!! (I thought, the wax doesn't cool off that fast) I went into the bathroom and found him, not with wax but with little cups of water "Pretending" to wax his eyebrows. Don't know where he learned to do that from? :)

They Both Love The Tub!
Anytime we run the tub, for ourselves, or for Lashae, Landon has to jump in.
Little Tub Thief!!!
He even LOVES to steal Morgyn's Tub's!

My Poor Girl

Oh Heavens! It's been crazy at our house this last week. Last Monday morning, Lashae started to get all stuffy like she was getting a cold. Landon was just getting over one so I wasn't surprised. We tried to keep her and Landon away from sick kids to avoid this but as you all know, it's a lot easier said than done. Well as the day went on, she just keep getting worse and worse. We have a nebulizer for Landon's Reactive Airway so I gave her a breathing treatment. That helped............ a little. Late that night, she was still having a hard time breathing, and then she started chocking and turning purple! Scary! Stan gave her a blessing and she calmed right down then fell asleep, breathing better than she had all day. I told Stan I still wanted to take her into the Dr. I just knew it was more than a cold. Sure enough, She had RSV! The Dr. told us we caught it early and that doing the breathing treatment really helped (as did the blessing), she didn't need to be hospitalized but he needed to keep a close watch on her. I am Happy to report that after 5 Dr. visits, 3 shots and 3-4 breathing treatments a day for a week. That Lashae is doing Great! Her O2's and heart rate are back where they belong. She has her color back. She can breath just fine without chocking or turning purple. And! She is back to being my Happy Little Girl!!
I am so Thankful for Stan and the priesthood he holds. I know that giving her a blessing really helped her. And put me at peace. I don't know what we would do with out him!! Love You Stan!!

This is a picture of her while getting a treatment. She grabbed ahold of it for a little while and decided she needed to lick it a few times. She's a licker by the way, she still wont take a binky but as long as she can lick something, She's Just Fine :) Silly Girl

Lashae's Blessing

Our little Lashae was blessed February 1st. My Mom “custom made” Lashae’s dress and it turned out perfect! Her Blessing day was so nice; we had lots of family and friends to spend the special day with. Stan gave such an amazing blessing, which of course made me cry, and then just as I got myself under control from that he goes up and shares his testimony. And then came more tears. I couldn’t sit there any longer, it was as if someone gave me a push to go share mine as well…. We had been through the craziest journey trying to get our beautiful little girl here, at times it seemed impossible and I felt like giving up. But there was always that feeling to just keep going, have faith, BE STONG. It wasn’t easy. And I couldn’t have done it alone. I am so lucky to have Stan for the priesthood he holds and the strength he gives me. For the many nights he would just hold me when I needed to cry, I know it wasn’t easy for him either. I am very grateful for our Family and Friends who were always there for us. I am grateful for the power of prayer, and for the comfort it gives, to know that you’re not alone. I am truly grateful for my two sweet children; the joy they bring to our lives is more than I could have ever asked for. They are my everything. Without them I would be lost. There is nothing greater than being a mother, and I am so blessed to be one. I love the saying “Find Joy In The Journey”. Our Journey’s not over but the Joy is not hard to find.

Is It A Boy Thing? Or A 3 Year Old Thing?

So Landon loves to help clean, when ever I clean the house he needs to help.......

However, He also likes to make messes!!
Landon was working on his Valentine Cards
After a little while he comes and stands right in front of me and says...
"Mom, I made a big mess"
I turned around to look at where he was working, clean, no mess.
Then I asked, Where?
All he did was lift up his shirt and smile!
The funny part is that when I was getting him in the tub
I found that he had colored all over his "MISTER" as well!

Later on that day we were having Brad, Sage and Morgyn over for Brownies.
I gave Landon the Beaters and Bowl so he could lick off the Yummy stuff.
Well he only ate a little of it then decided to put it all over himself.
Comes to me and says, "Mom look what I did" :)
Oh My Heaven's that was twice in one day!!!
At least this time it was just on his face and arms and not on his Mister

I couldn't believe he did something like that twice in one day,
He is usually so clean. He obviously thought it was funny,
So is this a boy thing or a 3 year old thing??? :)
